ARNG Yellow Ribbon Program
The Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) was established by the National Defense
Authorization Act 0f 2008, Section 582, which required the National Guard and
Reserve Forces to establish a national combat veteran reintegration program.
The YRP provides National Guard and Reserve members and their families, with
sufficient information, services, referrals and proactive outreach
opportunities throughout the entire deployment cycle. The cycle consists of
four (4) phases.
